Can One Annual Award Order Cover Monthly Milestone Deliveries?
Yes. Flawless Awards can plan one annual award order and manage the inventory for scheduled monthly milestone deliveries. We generally recommend a small buffer, especially for custom awards. Storage terms, personalization deadlines and monthly shipping costs must be confirmed for each program.
Yes. You can place one annual order and arrange monthly milestone deliveries, as long as we plan the program in advance. I generally recommend ordering your expected annual quantity plus a small, project-specific buffer. That gives you room for late additions without forcing a new production run or potentially expensive air freight.
Plan the full year before ordering
Start with your expected annual recipient count, monthly delivery schedule, budget and required in-hands dates. We’ll also need to know whether the awards are going to one office or directly to recipients at multiple addresses.
Once we understand those details, we can recommend a custom design or stock award and quote the fulfillment needs for the full program. Our guide to ordering awards for a corporate recognition program explains the broader planning process.
Stock and custom awards need different plans
Stock/catalog award shapes are available starting at one piece, and all branding methods are available regardless of quantity. Flawless typically keeps excess stock for urgent needs, but we can’t guarantee that a particular award will be available without checking. Catalog awards can be personalized one at a time as each month’s winners are identified.
Custom awards generally start around 12 pieces, but that isn’t an absolute minimum. What’s practical depends on the design, production method, quantity, budget and required date. Very small custom top-up runs can be harder to produce and may require expensive air freight when there’s a firm deadline.
Order a few extras for late additions
For an ongoing custom program, I’d usually include a few extra pieces in the first order. The right number depends on your expected annual volume, how often recipient counts change and whether the award includes information that’s specific to a particular date.
If you run out of extras, we’ll review the options for that project. You may be able to wait for a newly produced custom piece, use an available stock award for the additional recipient, or consider whether air freight is practical and what it would cost.
Confirm how storage and monthly releases will work
Agree on the inventory arrangement before approving the annual order. That includes how long the awards will be held, when recipient names must be submitted, where each monthly shipment will go, and how fulfillment and shipping will be charged.
For custom awards, we’ll also need to confirm when and how recipient personalization happens for that specific design. We won’t promise a standard per-address fee, free drop shipping or a fixed monthly cutoff without reviewing the program.
Get a quote for the full annual program
Share the full anticipated annual volume, even if recipients will be recognized one month at a time. Custom pricing and any volume discount are quoted based on the specific design, quantity, budget, delivery schedule and shipping requirements. Placing an annual order doesn’t automatically qualify it for a predefined discount.
Frequently asked questions
Can we submit award recipient names each month?
For catalog awards, pieces can be personalized one at a time as winners are identified. For a custom program, the monthly personalization process must be confirmed based on the design and production plan.
How many extra awards should we order?
There isn’t one standard percentage. We’ll recommend a buffer after reviewing your annual volume, how often late additions occur and whether unused awards can carry over to the next period.
Do custom awards require at least 12 pieces?
Custom awards generally start around 12 pieces, but 12 isn’t an absolute requirement. Smaller quantities may be possible when the design, production method, budget and overall project economics support them.
Can we order stock awards one at a time?
Yes. Stock/catalog award shapes are available starting at one piece, and branding methods aren’t restricted at lower quantities. Availability of the specific award should still be confirmed.
What happens if we use all the inventory before year-end?
We can review a new production run, an available stock award for the additional recipient, or the cost and feasibility of air freighting a custom piece. Timing and feasibility depend on the award and the required date.
Is there a standard fee for storing and shipping awards monthly?
No standard storage or per-address fulfillment fee is confirmed here. Those costs must be quoted based on how long inventory will be held, the delivery schedule and the number of shipping destinations.
